What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. We also collect your information when you register for an account or subscribe to our mailing list.

When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Additionally, we collect non-identifying demographic information via Google Analytics that shows the interests, ages, and regions of our audience as a whole.

We use this information to personalize your site experience, to better serve you in responding to your customer service requests, to quickly process your transactions, and to administer promotions or other site features. We may send you emails about our company, new products and other updates. You may opt-out from receiving such e-mails by e-mailing us at support@insoles.com. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional e-mails, such as e-mails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations.

Consent

When you provide us with personal information to place an order, arrange for a delivery or return of a purchase, or by contacting customer service, it is implied that you consent to our collecting the information and using it according to the terms of this Privacy Statement.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by contacting us at support@insoles.com or mailing us at: FootHealth, 16887 Partridge St NW, Andover MN 55304, USA.

By using our site, you consent to our privacy policy.

Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We may disclose your personal information with your consent, or if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. We may share your information in connection with any merger, sale of our assets, or a financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. You will be notified via e-mail and/or notice on our site of any change in ownership or users of your personal information.

Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our site, they may direct you away from our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Personal information provided on the website and online credit card transactions are transmitted through a secure server. We are committed to handling your personal information with high standards of information security. We take appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of personally identifiable information we collect, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, as well as employing electronic security systems and password protections that guard against unauthorized access.

Our website uses encryption technology, like Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transport. Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting credit card information.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we make good faith efforts to store the information collected on the Service in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage on our systems. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. Notwithstanding any language to the contrary, we make no warranty or representation that your information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties.
